Summary: Habitome is designed with a privacy-first approach. All your habits, tasks, journal entries, notes, and countdowns are stored on your device with optional automatic cloud backup to your personal account. We do not sell, track, or share your personal data.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Habitome, developed by Tezaron (https://tezaron.com/) ("we", "our", or "the app"), handles your information. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy and providing a secure, transparent user experience.

2. Data Collection and Storage

On-Device App Content: All content you create within Habitome (including habits, streaks, tasks, notes, journal entries, and milestone countdowns) is stored locally on your device so the app works offline anytime.
Account Information (Optional Cloud Sign-In): If you choose to sign in to enable automatic cloud backup, we collect basic account identifiers (such as your email address, display name, and unique user ID) solely to authenticate your account and associate your encrypted cloud backups with your profile.
Cloud Backup Data: When cloud backup is enabled, your workspace data is synced securely so you can restore your habits, tasks, notes, journal entries, and countdowns across devices. We do not sell, rent, or profile your personal data.

3. Data Security and Encryption

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our cloud backup servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.
On-Device Privacy Lock: Habitome provides an optional PIN and biometric fingerprint lock to protect your private mood journal and app workspace on your device.

4. Device Permissions Used

Habitome requests only the permissions required for its features and does not access sensitive device data:

Notifications & Alarms: Used to deliver scheduled reminders for your habits, tasks, and countdowns at the times you choose.
Biometric Authentication: Used locally via Android's system biometric prompt so you can unlock your private Mood Journal with your fingerprint or face unlock. Biometric data is handled strictly by your device's operating system and is never accessed or stored by Habitome.
Network Access: Used only for optional account sign-in, optional cloud backup sync, and verifying subscriptions through Google Play.

Habitome does not request access to your Location, Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Phone, SMS, or Photos/Media.

5. Third-Party Services

Habitome does not include third-party advertising networks that sell your personal activity. The app interacts only with trusted service providers necessary for core app functionality:

Google Play Services & Google Cloud Services (Google LLC): Used to manage app distribution, user authentication, secure cloud backup storage, and optional subscriptions via Google Play Billing. Google processes data under its own Privacy Policy.

6. Data Backup and Export

Habitome supports both automatic cloud backup and manual local Backup & Restore. You have full ownership and control over your backups and may export, restore, or delete them at any time.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You have full control over your account and data and can permanently delete your information at any time using any of the following methods:

In-App Account Deletion: Open Habitome, go to the Account screen, and select the Delete Account option to permanently delete your account and associated cloud backup data immediately.
Request Deletion by Email (Web Option): If you have already uninstalled the app and wish to delete your account and cloud backup data, send a deletion request to support@tezaron.com from the email address associated with your account. We will permanently delete your account and cloud data within 7 business days.
Local Device Data Deletion: You can delete individual items (habits, tasks, notes, journal entries, countdowns) directly within the app, clear the app's storage via Android Settings > Apps > Habitome > Clear Storage / Data, or uninstall the application from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Habitome is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older (or 18 and older depending on regional guidelines). We do not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
